A
great way for visitors of all ages to get acquainted with
all Key West has to offer is aboard either The Conch Tour Train
or Old Town Trolley. Price is $22.00 for adults. Children
are priced based on age.
The Conch Train is a
90 minute informative tour of the Island examining historic, natural,
and architectural highlights as well as other fascinating tidbits.
The Conch Tour Train is an open aired tram with individual seats
that can hold up to two adults and 2 small children.
The Old Town Trolley on
the other hand offers an all day ride, during which
you are allowed to get on and off at different designated stops.
There is a somewhat less informative tour provided.
The trolley is enclosed and resembles the famous Trolleys of San
Francisco.
As a unique treat, you may consider utilizing the
Train or Trolley for private transportation on your special
day! It is a wonderful way to share our island with your
guests while ensuring that everyone arrives safely on time.
The Butterfly Conservatory is
a giant terrarium with hundreds of free flying
butterflies.
You are able to view their activities as you meander through the gardens -- watch
out for hitch hiking butterflies!
This site is also a wonderful daytime
location for smaller wedding parties. It is located at 1316 Duval
Street.
Mel Fishers Museum documents
the exploration and eventual discovery of the
Spanish treasure ship Nuestra Senora de Atocha. A
myriad of sunken treasures and artifacts displayed. Located
on the Corner of Whitehead and Greene Streets,

Camp David of President Trumans era. View the paper incorrectly
declaring Dewey the Presidential winner, while visiting Harry and
Bess private living quarters. This house is still used by visiting
dignitaries and can be utilized for large wedding parties on
their grounds or small dinner receptions within
the house. Dine like royalty at the table that has been used by every president
since Truman.
The Key West Customs House was
built in the 19th century
and is now an art museum.
The Ernest Hemingway House is where
the author lived during his time in Key
West. He wrote some of his most memorable
pieces of literature surrounded by his
famous 6 toed cats. His gardens make
a wonderful location for both ceremony and
receptions.
Fort Zachary Taylor State Park is
located at the West end of the Island.
This is the best beach on the Island.
There is good off the beach snorkeling
